Catacombs Farming Guide

Welcome!

Hello everyone! Discord community member Hannah here, or Emmaline GhostSong as you may know me in-game. Chances are, you’ve heard that Dragoon Gear is the over-all best for any max-level Wizard. But what is it, and how do you get it? If you have these questions, this is the guide for you.

To craft your Dragoon gear you’ll need to be a Visionary Crafter first. Then, you can gather the reagents and recipe. The reagents you’ll need come from two bosses. Today I have two different strategies for Prince Viggor and King Detritus. These bosses drop the Alchemical Extracts, Salts, and Crystals you will need.

These bosses are essential for farming level 130-140 gear for most offensive builds. Each piece of the Dragoon set requires 300 Alchemical Extract, 50 Alchemical Salts, 5 Alchemical Crystals, and a piece of Vanguard gear. Any school’s Vanguard gear will work to create your preferred Dragoon set.

You can also craft the Vanguard gear if you’re not getting them as drops. Each requires 180 Alchemical Extracts, 30 Alchemical Salts, and 3 Alchemical Crystals. That number can sound intimidating for the new Visionary Wizard.

Gathering all those reagents can seem like an impossible task. But don’t stress – it’s easier than it sounds! This guide is here to teach you some of the best strategies to farm these materials. Let’s get started!

Abandoned House Strategies

King Detritus is the first boss of the Wizard City Drains after completing Empyrea Part One. He is the Abandoned House dungeon’s final boss, which is an excellent spot for Alchemical reagents. Each run drops ten Alchemical Extracts – one from the first mob fight and nine from the boss. King Detritus also drops other Alchemical reagents, Vanguard Hats, and much more. During the Double Reagents member event, you can get up to seventeen extracts per run!

Suppose you do not have this dungeon unlocked. No worries! The Abandoned House is a free-to-play dungeon that any Wizard can teleport inside. I have seen many Wizards start farming King Detritus for extracts as early as level 120. So, the Abandoned House is a very frequented area for high-level free-to-play Wizards.

Mob Battles

There are two mob fights before the boss. The first fight will drop one Alchemical Extract, and the second doesn’t drop anything of note. The mobs range in health, depending on which type spawn. Have one or two Wizards pack a first-round AOE hit, plus a blade or Mass Feint depending on your teammates. This setup should defeat all enemies in one round.

Fighting the Trash King

The most common strategies for farming the Abandoned House are the two round and four round strategies. The two-round approach is usually best when you have a consistent four-person team. Meanwhile, the four-round is better when using the Team Up Kiosk. If you are new to farming King Detritus, you may want to try both to see which one works best for your play style.

2-Round Strategy

This strategy requires a hitter, a Storm Wizard with around 160+ damage. You’ll also need three support Wizards. Your hitter must be in the last position (4th), and everyone needs to join in the first round. Your team should coordinate three different types of Feints; some examples are Mass Feint, regular Feint, regular Potent Feint, TC Feint, pet-card Feint, etc. For the second round, you need any three types of blades that stack. Again, these can be any blades depending on your team, but they must be stackable.

Remember, never put more than seven cards in your deck for this strategy to work. You must get all three Feints down on the first round. Casting Feints after the first round will result in the minions removing all of the Feints that have been cast. Without the three Feints, it is challenging to defeat the boss in the second round. One of your support Wizards should pack a Cleanse Charm, as sometimes the minions cast Virulent Plague. If needed, this can go in place of their second-turn blade but never in place of their first-turn Feint.

First Round

1st: Feint

2nd: Feint

3rd: Feint

4th: Blade or Frenzy

Second Round

1st: Blade

2nd: Blade

3rd: Blade

4th: Epic Storm Lord (or Epic Glowbug Squall, if they have a shadow pip)

I personally find this strategy to be the most reliable and easiest way to farm for Alchemical Extracts. Your team will fall into a rhythm after a few runs. Each run will take about ten minutes and yield ten Alchemical Extracts.

4-Round Strategy

If you only want to do a few runs, can’t find a team, or prefer more laid-back farming, you may want to try the four-round strategy. This strategy is best when using the Team-Up sigil for Abandoned House. It is adjustable for up to five rounds if necessary and works with various school attackers.

The way this strategy works is by sending in only one player for the first round. This Wizard will cast a Potent Feint. Once the first round has started, the remaining Wizards will join. This ensures that only one minion spawns.

On the second and third rounds, blade the hitter. On the third round, the one and only minion will sacrifice itself. So when the 4th round starts, the only enemy left is King Detritus. Because there is no minion, your team can cast their Feints now. The hitter will traditionally cast their school’s King Artorius spell in the fourth round. But any good seven to eight pip attack spell will do the job.

While the 4-round King Detritus strategy is a bit longer, it can be less stressful when using Team-Up.

Prince Viggor Strategies

Prince Viggor, located in Viggor’s Tomb, is part of the Catacombs questline. Many Wizards farm Prince Viggor, as he always drops three Alchemical Salts per fight. He also has a chance to drop other Alchemical reagents, Daybreaker and Nightbringer Spellements, and Vanguard boots. There are two main strategies for Prince Viggor; this guide outlines both strategies.

The first strategy takes two rounds but is challenging to pull off and requires two or three Fire Wizards. The second strategy takes three or four rounds but is much more flexible. If you do not have this dungeon unlocked, any Wizard can teleport to their friend inside. But you must have a membership or purchase the Catacombs with Crowns for access.

Mob Battle

This dungeon has one mob fight before the boss. Rydall’s Plague is a group of four Death mobs with 3,590 Health each. Have two players pack an all-one-enemy spell that they can use on the first round, such as Meteor Strike or Tempest. One of your support Wizards should carry TC Cleanse Charm; if Rydall’s Plague goes first, they always cast Virulent Plague. Your other support Wizard should pack a blade or Mass Feint if they have it.

2-Round Strategy

Your Team

For this strategy, you’re going to need the following:

  • One Wizard of any school. They can be a support Wizard with high resistance. This slot is the only flexible part of your team for this strategy.
  • One Fire support. This Wizard will cast Backdraft.
  • One Fire attacker. Their damage should be 160 or higher. They need to have 100% Power Pip and Accuracy.
  • A Wizard with a Dalia’s Smoldering Hairdo hat from the Professor’s Hoard Pack. This must be a level 40+ version that gives the Incindiate card. A Pyromancer or another Wizard with a Fire Mastery Amulet will do the job. They should also have a 100% Power Pip chance & good Accuracy.

Fighting Prince Viggor

All players need to go into the battle in the first round, in the correct order, without being late. That is quite tricky but do-able. Your hitter must be in the third position, and your player with the Dalia hat must be in the fourth position. The players in the first and second positions are interchangeable.

Each player should have no more than seven cards in their deck, and everyone will need a different stackable blade. Your support Wizard should have a Feint as well as Indemnity enchantment on hand. The Indemnity prevents Prince Viggor from removing the Feint with a cheat.

Viggor and his Ice Minion also like to cast a -55 Tower Shield. So one support Wizard should have TC Shatters or Pierce on hand. They will cast Shatter or Pierce in the second round rather than blading. You’ll still kill without the extra blade, but you won’t have a chance without removing the Tower Shields.

First round:

1st: Indemnity Feint

2nd: Blade

3rd: Blade or Frenzy

4th: Blade

Second round:

1st: Blade or Shatter/Pierce

2nd: Indemnity Backdraft

3rd: Epic Scald

4th: Incindiate

When this strategy works according to plan, you can expect to do around 80,000 damage to Prince Viggor. One of your Wizards may sometimes need to do a backup Meteor Strike on the third round, but most often, you can 2-round!

Traditional Strategy

Speed is the most significant advantage of using the two-round strategy. Yet, it requires excellent coordination and is easy to mess up. If your team can’t execute the two-round strategy, you might try the traditional method. You will find this strategy is more flexible and has room for error. I usually do four rounds with my team. You may find three to five rounds will work for you. This strategy is adjustable.

Your Team

You’ll need the following for this strategy:

  • One tank or support Wizard. They will ideally have high resistance to tank some extra hits. They need to be able to cast Indemnity enchanted Feint.
  • Two other support Wizards. One of them may want to have their hitting gear on for the mobs or a potential backup hit.
  • One attacker. This can be any school, except for Myth or Death as Prince Viggor has a high resistance to those schools and may remove prisms. Storm and Fire are ideal schools to hit in this battle.

Your Decks

Your tank Wizard must pack Feint plus an Indemnity enchant.

All three of your support Wizards should coordinate to pack several stackable blades for your hitter. You could use elemental blades, dark pacts, school blades, pet blades, an so on. At least one support player should also pack TC Shatters and cleanse charm. You may pack traps. Yet, all traps must have an Indemnity on them. Do not cast them if Prince Viggor summons a Storm or Myth minion – so this should be a last resort only.

Your hitter needs a good attack all spell. When I hit on my storm, I use Storm Lord – as well as Frenzy or another aura, and usually one or two blades for themselves.

Fighting Prince Viggor

For the first round, have only your tank Wizard go in and cast Indemnity Feint. This tactic minimizes the amount of minion hits your team gets. Once the first round has started, the rest of your team can go in with your hitter in the fourth position.

Next, spend one to two rounds blading up your hitter. It may take a couple of tries for your team to see exactly how many rounds you need. I hit on the fourth round, but I find it is possible to kill on the third for some Wizards.

On the round you hit, use Shatter on Prince Viggor. The only time I don’t do this is if our team goes first and he doesn’t already have a shield on. If he doesn’t have a shield, but the opposing team goes first, cast Shatter anyway.

With the Feint, a couple of rounds’ worth of blades, and the Shatter, your hit should take Viggor and his minions out in one go. If, by some chance, you have a straggler, have your backup hitter cast a quick AOE. This strategy is a reliable way to farm Alchemical Salts – and if you’re lucky, Vanguard boots!

After Farming

Now that you know the strategies, you’re well on your way to crafting Dragoon gear. Pick up the recipes from Zasha Emberforge and get crafting! I recommend spending most of your time at King Detritus for Alchemical Extracts. Once you get most of your extracts, pop over to Viggor for a few runs to catch up on salts.

The meta PVE set for level 130-140 in most cases asks for the Dragoon Hat, Boots, and Amulet. Dragoon gear gives a lot of Health, and the robe and athame are staples in high HP builds for Ice Wizards. The stats of all Dragoon pieces are below but don’t forget about the set bonus! With three pieces, you get extra damage, which is a big part of what makes this gear so powerful.

Also, some pieces come with great spells. The hats come with a zero-pip mass trap, the boots with an item card Sharpened Blade and Potent Trap, and the amulet with an overpowered four-pip AOE spell. Take a look!

Welcome back to Crafting101, young Wizard! The next step in your crafting journey is Promethean Crafter! This stage comes after you earn the Transcendent Crafter badge. Like most crafting quests, you may teleport to a friend to reach Stendhill Hammertail. Otherwise, you will reach Stendhill while questing through Khrysalis. Khrysalis is home to many great recipes, so be sure to keep an eye out for the many vendors you’ll meet on your journey!

Stendhill Hammertail

Find Oztomeca in Silent Market, Khrysalis. He will assign you the next quest, called “Stop! HammerTail” This quest has you craft one Ornate Burrower Chair. The recipe is available for 45,000 gold.

The Recipe

Below is a list of all the reagents needed to craft an Ornate Burrower Chair along with their locations.

Deep Mushroom

Ten Deep Mushrooms are first on our recipe. This is a common reagent found throughout Wizard City, Krokotopia, Mooshu, and Grizzleheim. You can harvest this reagent from Boom Shrooms, Burning Snap Dragons, Fickle Pickle, and Dandelions. They’re sometimes available in the Bazaar!

In the Bazaar, this reagent goes for 400 to 4000 gold.

Sunstone

Four dazzling Sunstones also contribute to the making of the chair. These are a rare harvest from Sandstone and can be found in either Khonda Desert or Last Wood. I would also search the Halley’s Observatory instance in Marleybone. Sunstone is sometimes a harvest reward from Maelstrom Snap Dragon, Evil Magma Peas, Fickle Pickle, and Deadly Helephant Ears. While sometimes it can be found in the Bazaar, Sunstone can be bought with 200 Arena Tickets from Diego the Duelmaster.

The Transmute Recipe is listed below.

Turquoise

Seven Turquoise will add accent color to the recipe. Turquoise will be the hardest reagent to get on the list. You may want to farm the bosses of Xibalba or other bosses in Azteca to get this reagent. Aquilan bosses, like the Gladiator in The Pit of The Noxii, also have excellent drop rates for Turquoise. You might be lucky and find some in the Bazaar!

Golden Pearl

Six Golden Pearls will give off that nice golden look. These are a rare harvest that you can find from pearls in Stormriven Hall, The Grotto, The Portico, and Waterworks, Crab Alley. The Hardest Crafting Recipe!

Have you ever thought about what the hardest thing to craft in Wizard101 might be? Which world is the most difficult, and in particular, what recipe is the most challenging in the entire game?

Well, we have tons of crafting guides that cover all the worlds in the Spiral, but lets look at the most difficult recipe to date, the Chain Reel!

You might make a case for the Revered crafting wands. They require good amounts of Flying Squid Ink, Aethyr Ore and also the Participation Trophies. A lot of worlds when questing and ranking up your crafting also challenged us, worlds like Dragonspyre come to mind. But trust me, none of them compare to what you’re about to see…

Don’t let me having all the reagents mislead you. 50 Flying Squid Ink and 100 Aethyr Ore is already rather taxing, but there’s a killer involved.

Getting 50 Platinum is only describable as absurdly difficult. It only really drops from the Accursed Play gauntlet and is still really rare. A lot of people who play actively on their max characters may not even have a single one, not to mention 50!

So let’s tackle getting these reagents so we can achieve this recipe!

Getting the Reagents!

The Squid Ink looks somewhat daunting, though honestly, you will most likely get enough from questing through Empyrea Part Two and farming for your Paradox gear.

The Aethyr Ore is a rather massive set-back. While farming in the Reverie or Husk can let you achieve what you need in a couple hours. That’s of course if you make use of transmutation, which trust me, you’ll want to do.

The most difficult reagent is the 50 Platinum. To clarify, if only using transmutation to achieve a single Platinum, it will cost you ten trillion Stone Blocks…

That’s ten followed by twelve zeros. 10 000 000 000 000 for one Platinum, so you’d need fifty times that for the full recipe.

While that absurd number sets in, it’s important to note that the only way I found to do this was by purchasing the Platinum with Empowers. But be careful if you try this, it’s not easy. This recipe cost me a lot of Empowers, probably over 1000. It’ll take a while to accomplish this feat!

Why craft it?

This is something I was asked a lot. Why Kyle? What for Kyle? To be honest, because I could. I enjoy doing these difficult things in games. The item itself, the Chain Reel, is an absolutely useless housing item.

I did it for the challenge mostly. To be able to say “look what I did !” Do you think you can do it too? Take the Chain Reel Challenge and post your finished Chain Reel on Twitter, Facebook, or Discord. Tag us at Ravenwood Academy so we can admire your work! I challenge you to craft the Chain Reel!

Castle Crafting

Did you Know?

There are castles available for your wizards to craft!

That’s right, there are 4 amazing castles that you can create.  You can craft a home in the stars, or an expansive home in the trees.  In the mood for some creepiness? Crafting101 – Azteca

Tonight we will learn how to craft an Eagle War Shield for Oztomeca's quest, "Making the Grade."

Welcome back to Crafting101, young Wizard! After achieving Legendary Artisan, you will work to become a Transcendent Crafter. You may teleport to a friend to reach Oztomeca, like most other crafting quests. You could also quest to “Millions of Years in The Making” for access.

Oztomeca

You will find Oztomeca in Three Points, Azteca. Once you find him, pick up “Making the Grade.” This quest requires you to craft one Eagle War Shield. The recipe is available for 12,000 gold. On a side note, take a look at his Aztecan Castle Block recipes. They are some of the rarest blocks in the Bazaar!

The Recipe

Below is a list of all the reagents needed to craft an Eagle War Shield and how to find them.

Potent Trap

In order to craft the Eagle War Shield, you will need one Potent Trap Treasure Card. This is a difficult Treasure Card to get, but Aztecan bosses have a chance at dropping this card. You can quest through Azteca and check your loot. Otherwise, pick bosses, like the Caiman, to farm.

Ra

The shield also requires two Ra Treasure Cards. The Bazaar sells Ra Treasure Cards for 1200 to 2250 gold. You may also receive this Treasure Card as a reward for battling mobs in the Winterbane Gauntlet.

Agave Leaves

The next reagent required is two Agave Leaves. The Alto Alto and Mangrove Marsh are great locations to find Agave Leaves. The reagent is also sold by Brandon Mistborn, in Unicorn Way, for 400 Arena Tickets.

Agave Nectar

Next on the list is five Agave Nectar. This is a rare harvest from Agave Leaves. You might get lucky and pick up Agave Nectar when collecting Agave Leaves. Brandon also sells Agave Nectar for 2,500 Arena Tickets in Unicorn Way. The transmute recipe is later in the article.

Scrap Iron

The recipe requires ten Scrap Iron. Marleybone has several drop locations for Scrap Iron. The Cenote in Azteca and the Science Center in Celestia are also good drop locations. If you want, you can also buy Scrap Iron for 499 Crowns in the Crowns Shop. There is also a transmute recipe later in the article.

Golden Pearl

Four Golden Pearls should be easy to find. Although they’re a rare harvest, there are several places you can pick up Golden Pearls. The harvest locations include Stormriven Hall, the Grotto, the Portico, and Crab Alley. Several plants drop it, including Maelstrom Snap Dragons and Evil Magma Peas. The Bazaar also sells Golden Pearls. The Transmute Recipe is below.

Leather Straps

The recipe requires ten Leather Straps. The easiest way to get this reagent is from the Bazaar. Otherwise, Orange Dandelions and Trumpet Vines drop Leather Straps. The Transmute Recipe is below.

Turquoise

Five Turquoise can be hard to find. While the Bazaar sells this reagent, it’s sometimes sold out. Aquilan bosses and Xibalba drop Turquoise if the Bazaar is out of this reagent.

Transmute Recipes

Agave Nectar

Agave Nectar requires 15 Agave Leaves. This recipe is available from Popol Vuh Whitepaper in Azteca for 1,000 gold. The recipe appears after questing in Alto Alto.

Scrap Iron

Scrap Iron requires 10 Ore and 10 Stone Blocks. This recipe is available from Felicia Worthington in Regent’s Square for 300 gold.

Golden Pearl

Golden Pearls require 15 typical pearls. This recipe sells for 600 gold from Avery Templeton in the Celestia Base Camp.

Leather Straps

Leather Straps require 5 Bones. This recipe sells for 150 gold from Eudora Tangletree in Olde Town.

Completion

Once you have the reagents, you can craft the Eagle War Shield using a Housing Crafting Station. Finishing the quest results in 17,300 experience and 250 gold. You also receive the Transcendent Crafter Badge. Congratulations, young Wizard!

Thank you, Starlights, for joining my crafting and reagents collection! Catch our next edition of Crafting101 in Khrysalis.

Crafting the Hands of Fate

The Hands of Fate are awesome wands available for crafting and would primarily be for stitching or showing off to your friends, because the last upgrade is hard!

So how do you craft them?

Well, first off you’re going to need to play the new Deckathalon.

Once you’ve gained 35 points in the event you’ll be gifted the Hands of Fate.  It’s a one time reward and is the base of all your gauntlet crafting.

After this, you’re going to have to do a lot of runs of the Deckathalon. You’re going to be grinding for school runes of all kinds.

What runes do you need?

School Runes:  Runes like Ice and Fire runes are the very basic runes. You’ll get them just by battling your way through the stages.

Enhanced Runes:  These are the second tier of runes. They’re a much rarer drop and can also be crafted.

Superior Runes:  These are the highest tier of school runes and are very rare, both from packs and drops.

Augmentation Runes:  These are dropped fairly regularly and are key for enhancing weapons.

Strengthening Rune:  The current drop location is unknown and we’re hoping they drop from the “Best Loot” tier.

Improvement Runes:  You get one Improvement Rune from the one time reward at 570 points.  They drop from the “Even Better Loot” tier too.

Ultimate Runes:  From what we’ve seen, Ultimate Runes are only available from placing on the leaderboard.

Where to craft?

Crafting the new wands is a little unique. The recipes are bought from Kara Runewright after each stage of the Deckathalon.

Once you’ve gathered everything you need to upgrade your gauntlets to the next level, run on over to the Library. Here you’ll find the Equipment Crafting Station. This is where you craft your wands for this event.

Are the Packs worth the Reagents?

In short, no. I tested them with about 3000 Crowns and only got 2 Superior Fire Runes. On average, I got four treasure cards and three regular school runes. So, when you’re trying to get the rarer runes, these are not going to be your best bet.

So, while these new Hands are awesome, they are rather tricky. The recipes become more and more difficult, as you can see with the last two stage recipes below. All we can hope is that the second and third better loot tiers drop these rarer runes more frequently. If not, grind hard because hopefully the transmute recipes will be reappearing after the event, for us to craft them all later!

Crafting101 – Death Spells

Welcome to the Death edition of my crafting series. I’ll walk you through the basics of crafting the Death spells in Wizard101. These are the spells dropped by Loremaster! Unfortunately, Headless Horseman will be omitted from this list. Maybe someday it’ll be a spell we can craft!

Deer Knight and Lord of Night’s Recipe Location

Deer Knight Recipe

Deer Knight is a hit-all Death spell that requires 5 pips. It has a base damage of 300 + another 270 over three rounds! This spell is a must for any Death Wizard. It has uses for both PvE and PvP players. The Deer Knight recipe can be bought for 60,000 gold from Grady in Avalon.

You will need the following Treasure Cards and Reagents to craft Deer Knight.
6 – Deer Knight Treasure Cards
100 – Perfect Onyx
200 – Ghost Fire
100 – Blood Moss
100 – Bone
50 – Spring
50 – Sunstone
12 – Amber

Lord of Night Recipe

Lord Of Night is another 5-pip Death damage spell. This spell gives 50% of the damage back to the caster in health! It also gives the enemy a 25% Infection as a trap. You can buy the Lord of Night recipe from Grady for 60,000 gold.

You will need the following Treasure Cards and Reagents to craft Lord of Night.
6 – Lord Of Night Treasure Cards
100 – Perfect Onyx
200 – Ghost Fire
50 – Nightshade
25 – Turquoise
50 – Scrap Iron
25 – Sunstone
12 – Amber

Where to Get the Reagents

Perfect Onyx: You can buy Perfect Onyx for 100 gold a piece in the Celestia Base Camp from the vendor Archytas.

Ghost Fire: You can buy Ghost Fire for 100 gold a piece in the Atheneum. Zolton Nightstone in Dragonspyre is the reagent vendor I prefer.

Blood Moss: I find that the easiest way to get Blood Moss is by transmuting the reagent. You can buy the transmute Blood Moss recipe from Avery Templeton in the Celestia Base Camp for 400 gold. It requires 15 Red Mandrake to transmute one Blood Moss.

Bone: You can get Bone from Elik Silverfist in the Bazaar.

Spring: I find that the best place to get Spring is in Marleybone. It can be harvested with Scrap Iron as a rare drop.

Sunstone: You can buy Sunstone from Diego The Duelmaster in Unicorn Way for 200 Arena Tickets. You can also buy the transmute Sunstone recipe from Avery Templeton in the Celestia Base Camp. If you are lucky, you might even find Sunstone in the Bazaar.

Amber: Amber is by far the most difficult item to get on this list. One of the most popular places to get Amber is by farming Gladiator Dimachaerus in Mount Olympus in Aquila.

Nightshade: In my opinion, the easiest way to get Nightshade is to buy it from Diego The Duelmaster for 175 Arena Tickets. You can find Diego in Unicorn Way. You can also buy the transmute recipe from Avery Templeton in the Celestia Base Camp for 200 gold.

Turquoise: You can buy Turquoise from Elik Silverfist in the Bazaar in Olde Town.

Deer Knight and Lord Of Night Treasure Cards: The best place to get both of these treasure cards is from Elik Silverfist from the Bazaar in Olde Town.

Thanks for crafting your Death spells with Ravenwood Academy! What was the hardest reagent for you to find? Which was the easiest? Let us know in the comments below.

Crafting101 – Storm Spells

Today I will explain how to craft the Storm school spells you can’t get from questing and leveling up. I will also tell you where to get the reagents you need fast!

Recipe Vendor Location

The Storm school spells we will be crafting are Calypso and Catalan. To buy the recipes you will go through the Wild to the Wyrd then into Dun Scaith. Once inside you will see the Indigo Giant, a Rank 12 Storm Boss with 14,150 Health. If you are careful, you can walk around the outer edge of the battle circle to reach Grady, the recipe vendor.

Spell Vendor

After the fight, visit Grady to buy the recipes for Catalan and Queen Calypso.

Catalan Recipe

Catalan is a Rank 5 spell that does 700 base Storm damage. While dealing impressive damage, Catalan also gives a 25% accuracy debuff. This makes it a useful card for both PvP and PvE. You can buy the recipe for 60,000 gold.

To craft Catalan, you will need the following Treasure Cards and Reagents:

6 – Catalan Treasure Cards
100 – Perfect Amethyst
200 – Ghost Fire
100 – Water Lily
100 – Bronze Gear
50 – Spring
50 – Sunstone
12 – Amber

Queen Calypso Recipe

Queen Calypso is one of the newer spells in the game. If you are very lucky you can get it from the Immortal’s Lore Pack. Queen Calypso does 445-505 base Storm damage. Calypso also puts a 20% Windstorm on the opponent before the hit strikes, to strengthen the attack! Queen Calypso is very popular for Storm PvP. You can buy the recipe for 60,000 gold.

To craft Queen Calypso, you will need the following Treasure Cards and Reagents:

10 – Queen Calypso Treasure Cards
120 – Perfect Onyx
200 – Ghost Fire
120 – Bloodmoss
120 – Bone
60 – Spring
60 – Sunstone
18 – Amber

Where to get the Treasure Cards and Reagents!

Ghost Fire:
You can buy Ghost Fire for 100 Gold a piece, in the Atheneum. From the NPC Zolton Nightstone. You can also get ghost fire from Archytas.

You can buy transmute Bronze Gear from Avery Templeton for 150 gold. It takes 5 Spider Silk to craft! It is commonly found in the Bazaar.

Spring:
One of my favorite places to get Spring is from Counterweight East in Marleybone. It is dropped along with Scrap Iron. You can also find it in the Bazaar.

You can buy Sunstone from Diego The DuelMaster in Unicorn Way for 200 Arena Tickets. You can also get Sunstone in the Bazaar or buy the transmute recipe from Avery Templeton in Celestia, Base Camp.

I enjoy the quick damage and extra utility these spells offer my Storm Wizard. I hope you enjoy crafting and using them too. I will be watching for any questions in the comments below!
