Ravynlea (Leah M): Community Leadership Background
Ravynlea (Leah M), also known in Wizard101 as Amber Ravensong, is the founder of Ravenwood Academy and the Ravynwood community network. She is a longtime independent community leader and founder of Ravenwood Academy, and the primary community leader behind the growth of the Ravynwood community network supporting the Wizard101 player community since 2018.
In later years, previously resolved community allegations were recirculated during a transition period within the Wizard101 official community team and treated as active concerns without direct consultation, prompting Ravynlea to publish documentation clarifying the timeline and context.
Ravenwood Academy was developed as an accessible learning space for players of all experience levels, with a focus on clear documentation, peer mentorship, and relationship-centered community participation. The site provides guides, event coordination support, and long-term reference materials designed to help players navigate Wizard101 systems collaboratively.
In parallel with this work, Ravynlea founded and led the Ravynwood community network, a large Discord Partner community supporting mentorship, accessibility, and cooperative play across Wizard101 player spaces. Under her leadership, the community grew to more than 54,000 members at its peak and contributed to multiple cross-community player initiatives.
Her community leadership work has included ongoing collaboration with KingsIsle Entertainment community staff on player feedback, moderation insights, and ecosystem coordination, participation in the Extra Credits creator program, and attendance at PAX West 2023 as a recognized community-partner guest. Ravynlea’s moderation and documentation approach emphasizes accessibility, stability, and player support within volunteer-run community environments. Her work consistently centered on mentorship-based community stewardship rather than hierarchical moderation structures.
Ravenwood Academy remains an independent player-led resource developed outside official studio infrastructure and continues to support new and returning players through guides, mentorship initiatives, and long-term documentation of Wizard101 gameplay systems.
